Job Description
An experienced Development Control Planner is required to assess and process planning and other applications. You will be required to advise, liaise and negotiate with developers, outside bodies, the general public and inter-departmental staff on development proposals. You will also be required where necessary to investigate breaches of planning control and recommend action to be taken.
The successful candidate will be required to review planning applications to assess the impact on the Transport for London Road Network. Previous experience of Transport Impact Assessment reports would be beneficial, as would an understanding of planning processes, standards, and section 106 and 278 agreements.
The work is varied and interesting and planners without UK experience will be considered.
