Job Description

The drawings will all be issued in electronic format and you should have had previous experience in establishing primary and secondary controls, reporting on and verifying all aspects of the setting out. The bulk of the work will be complicated and intricate, with all the architectural details being set out to co-ordinates on the structural RC sub- and super- structural elements and the finishes.

Your Experience will probably have given you a minimum of 3 years setting out in field conditions on large projects, preferably for a contractor, be able to read and understand architectural, construction and services drawings, have good AutoCAD skills, a CSCS certificate, and permission to live and work in the UK.

The Project is a multi-storey office development set on a Greenfield site south of Oxford, so you will need to have access to a car / transport to access the area. RC frame experience on a fast track development, where you need to be able to operate in a number of locations at the same time will be the experience that you require here.

Clear communication and good Engineering skills, with the ability to pass on information to the labour force, a confident approach in dealing with the main contractor resolving drawing and information queries, a good work ethic that will lead to solving problems with your colleagues are all attributes of the Engineer / Surveyor we seek.
