Job Description
Our client, a large Local Authority, is currently looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team.
The successful candidate will have experience of the following:
• Must have BSc or HND
• Must have experience in supervising staff
• Must have previous Local Authority experience
• Must have previous experience working on schools
• Maximum rate is flexible for exceptional candidate
• Commissioned projects with value from £10- £500k depending on experience
• Planned maintenance works (roofing, windows etc)
• Refurbishments, DDA improvements
• Preparing reports, feasibilities
• Surveying, specifying works
• Preparing schedule of works
• Overseeing works on site including instructing contractor
• General building survey work including measured surveys, and defect diagnosis
• Dealing with contractor
Candidates will need:
• A full UK driving license and their own vehicle, mileage will
be paid
• To be able to climb ladders
This role will be for 3 months initially and is due to commence
shortly.
