Job Description
Our Client is a well know consultancy in the UK and has vacancies in their London and Sussex offices.
Hydraulic Modelling Candidates will need:
-A degree in Civil or Environmental engineering preferably with a mathmatical slant.
-A second degree in Hydraulic Modelling, Water Resources would be highly regarded.
-Knowledge of how river and coastal systems work
-Any of the following software
packages would be highly sought after; ISIS, HEC-RAS, MIKE11, MIKE21 and Tuflow
Hydrologists will need:
-A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with Geology as an allied subject
-A second degree in hydrology or water resources would be desireable
-Preferably with 2 years experience working with the hydrology of river systems, flood studies, flood estimation.
-This position works on UK Environment Agency schemes, predicting whether development can be undertaken on flood plains.
Ideally you will have 5 yrs or more industry experience but we are willing to look at Cv's of those who have less.
