Established over 25 years ago they have always taken on Engineers who are prepared to “work hard and play hard, for good rewards”.

Our current requirement is for a Senior Engineer with a strong personality who is able to ensure that the client’s exacting standards are met. This is a 3 phase project and phase one is just coming out of the ground, so there is plenty of opportunity for either a permanent position or a long contract role. The client is the Principal Contractor on this project.

The project is a £ multi million project providing mixed residential and support buildings over the next 2 years. Ideally you will have a strong engineering background and wish to put your technical knowledge to good use. You will need to have a strong enough character to delay a pour until you are confident that the work meets the client’s standards. This does not mean a glut of paperwork, but you will need to be computer literate, able to organise check sheets and respond in kind to the client’s written and oral queries.

Multi storey to 22 floors, you will have worked on high rise projects previously and be aware of the need to maintain vertical as well as horizontal control. Splitting your time between overseeing Engineers who are setting out, QA, taking – off / ordering drainage, rebar, concrete and all other associated materials, programming, preparing Method Statements and generally liaising with the resident Project Manager you will be very busy.

Rewards are available both in the salary package which will be adjusted to reflect the calibre and experience of the successful candidate and in the career advancement that this company is able to offer. £45 - £50,000 negotiable, with car/allowance, BUPA, pension and bonuses

Site Engineers are also needed for this and similar projects. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered.
