Job Description

Overseeing the overall Construction programmes and methods for a medium sized, established contractor, the role will take in appraising the viability of projects through tender stages, onto the construction and handover stages.

Your role will entail being involved with regular and repeat clients from the original project conception, through the various preparatory stages in planning and budgeting, advising and overseeing the Contracts and Project Managers in the Engineering aspects of the different schemes, ranging from temporary works to scaffold and shuttering proposals, structural concepts and modifications or variations to design changes. Commercial awareness and understanding will also be expected.

Your background. Degree or tertiary level qualification with over 15 years practical experience working for a main contractor, recognized structural sub-contractor or formwork designer, you will have been involved with the practical side of construction rather than pure theory. UK experience must be dominant in the last 5 years work history, full references will be taken.
