Job Description
An Essex based council wishes to appoint a Building Services Manager immediately for a three month contract. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day responsive repairs division and analysing strategic and financial performance.
Your main duties will include budget monitoring, performance and strategic management, health & safety, procurement and staff management as well as strategic and financial performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong building maintenance skills and experience in a hands-on environment. You will also have previous experience of managing a team. You will be working closely with politicians, senior staff and members of the general public so communication skills are a must. Good budget management skills and experience in public sector is essential.
