Job Description

The ideal candidate will confidently provide a front-line service for private sector owner-occupied dwellings and both Public and Private Sector tenants if those tenants have disabilities, as well as being responsible for the interpretation and implementation of Housing Acts, and other associated legislative powers, as they relate to enforcement and grant aid.

You will a sound understanding and knowledge of CAD, Construction and the ability to liaise, supervise and instruct outside architects to develop adaptations and alteration to meet the disabled person’s needs. You will also prepare specifications for relevant grant aided adaptation works, required to comply with the Council’s adopted standards.
