Job Description
Hearing Aid Audiologists required in the South West of England, several positions available.
Closing Date: Short-listing 9th March 2007
Brief Description of Post
1. Provision of a hearing aid direct referral service, examination/assessment of patient disability questionnaire, hearing assessment and discussion of results with patient reaching an agreed decision with patient for future management of condition. Referral of consultation outcome to be reported to the referring clinician and others as appropriate.
2. To participate in a range of adult diagnostics and rehabilitative audiology throughout the South West. Including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometer, tympanometry, impression taking, hearing aid fit/exchange, Rear Ear Measurement techniques and patient questionnaires.
3. Prescribe digital hearing aids and ear moulds. BSc Audiology, RCCP/HP/HAC Registration
