Role
The role involves but is not limited to the following:

 Responsible for managing a small team of up to 5 individuals
 Responsibility of delivering up to 10 projects concurrently to time and to budget
 Daily management of projects reporting to Project Manager
 Design and Design Management from inception to completion
 Supervising and managing assistant engineers and technicians
 Liaison with other members of project teams both internal and external
 Liaise with internal and external sub contractors
 Involvement with cost management, tenders, invoicing of projects
 Client presentations
 Circa 75% of time will be spent on Design.

Candidate Specification:

 Degree Qualified
 Professionally qualified Chartered Civil Engineer/completion of training scheme
 5 – 10 years engineering experience, minimum 3 years within a rail environment
 Ideally personnel management and project management experience
 Previous consultancy experience
 Good design experience
