They are looking for a Development Engineer to work from their regional office Oxfordshire, which apart from being their flagship office, is also the most successful office in terms of profit and staff retention.
They’re part of a large national group, this division being the biggest of the group, with an annual turnover of £500m.
It’s a great opportunity to go into a fast paced, commercial environment, to become part of the delivery team and get more involved in the projects.
It’s an extremely diverse role, involving site work, liaising with contractors, getting involved with clients, and essentially you get the chance to see what you’re designing. You will also be liaising with Local Authority over planning issues, preparing design briefs and providing technical and design support.
Their looking for someone that is very keen and proactive, who enjoys a challenge and thrives on success to join their 60 strong team.
They’re a great company to work for in the sense that they don’t box bash – they’re involved in a lot of very bespoke, interesting projects - they’ve really broadened their portfolio recently from the more traditional detached developments to include large urban regeneration schemes.
