Job Description
A North London Borough wishes to appoint a Senior Surveyor for an initial 3 month contract to work within a team of building surveyors.
You will be working on various large projects with values of up to 500k depending on experience. You will be reporting into the Principal Surveyor and may have some supervisory responsibility on larger projects.
You will be responsible for managing the Housing programme – your role will include looking after right to buy surveys, budget control and responsive term contracts. You will also be responsible for the special needs programmes which include extensions, adaptations and minor improvements. The second programme you will be handling is the General Fund Project –which includes management of DDA programmes of works and the condition survey programme.
The successful candidate will have worked for a local authority as well as having housing, schools and public buildings experience. It is desirable that you are a member of RICS and have had previous experience supervising staff.
