Job Description
A Kent based local authority is seeking a Principal Property Surveyor to, manage day-to-day operations, be responsible for budget & service delivery, contribute to Policy development (for housing) and participate in corporate projects.
Other duties will include Managing the Neighbourhood Team Manager, Senior Property Surveyor and the Building Services Engineer and ensure that all decisions, policies and procedures relating to day-to-day maintenance and tenant participation are effectively implemented.
The successful candidate will support the housing services manager in the delivery of housing maintenance services and develop systems to ensure excellence in several areas such as; Performance & Financial Improvement, Programmed & Planned Maintenance and Responsive repair service management, ICT, Communication & Consultant, Service.
Must have a relevant qualification and a similar work background. You will have a minimum of 1 years experience in a senior management role & knowledge of all aspects of housing maintenance services.
Initially appointed for 3 months, there may be the opportunity for this position to be available for up to 9 months.
