This Local Authority is in pursuit of a Technical Assistant to ensure the delivery of a timely and effective repairs and maintenance service to all Housing residents within a defined area.

As the ideal candidate you will be required to ensure the provision of a quick responsive minor repair service, undertake timely pre and post inspections of void properties, diagnosing, specifying and ordering minor repairs as directed. You will also carry out all necessary liaisons, including meetings with contractors, residents and officers as well as maintaining and updating administrative and filing records on all contract repairs.

Essentially you will have knowledge of the current housing issues, experience working within a multi-discipline team capacity and be IT literate. You must have or be working towards Court recognised expert witness status in disrepair and ideally hold a full UK driving license.
