Job Description
A leading provider of infrastructure services across Great Britain and Ireland, this organisation has built a strong reputation amongst its clients due to constant innovation, technical expertise and professional delivery. Currently they are working on a number of major, £multimillion tunnelling projects including a major upgrade of the Belfast Sewerage system, a Design and Build project consisting of several miles of tunnels, multiple shafts, a pumping station and associated infrastructure.
Our client is currently looking to recruit resilient, hard-working Tunnelling Engineers to augment their team for the construction of the tunnels and shafts on this groundbreaking project. Ideally candidates will possess solid experience in the relevant fields along with good knowledge of segmental tunnels.
The main responsibilities would include the management of all technical aspects associated with the control of the Tunnel Boring Machine and the tunnel construction on a shift basis, supervision of the shift engineers, preparation short term programmes for a section of works, ensure materials and resources are available to achieve this. The role would require some shift working.
c. £29000 + Benefits Package
