We have been approached by one of our top UK Consulting Clients to find engineers eager to take on the challenge of assisting in the design and construction phases of the new Olympic Stadium. The Client is currently moving into scheme design on the structure and immediately requires engineers to be initially based in their lead design office, for the first 3 months. After that the successful engineers will relocate to either the Olympic Site or Project office based in East London.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Structural Engineers to be heavily involved in the land mark project of the 2012 Olympic games, and engineers will need to apply promptly to be considered.

The Client needs a Structural Engineer with a degree in civil or structural engineering and the ability to scheme design, and detailed design Building or Civil Structures. If engineers have experience on stadium structures, then that would obviously be highly valued as well. Previous experience based on site conducting construction inspection, and liaising with Construction Managers will also be a significant advantage, for the London phase. Communication skills will be essential, to ensure adequate liaison between all the relevant stakeholders, and Senior Structural Engineering staff.
