Job Description
A Surrey based council wishes to appoint a Building Control Surveyor for an initial 6 month contract.
You will be reporting to the Senior Building Control Surveyor and assisting with the implementation and enforcement of Building Regulations and associated legislation within the Borough.
Overall duties will include checking and either approving or rejecting full plan submissions and calculations of works to be carried out. You will be inspecting works in progress on site and maintain detailed records of those inspections. You will be ensuring that any building work carried out within the borough has building regulation approval.
The successful candidate will have previous Building Control experience and must be physically able to climb ladders.
