Job Description

Project Manager required for a Contractor operating throughout London and the South of England. The current requirement is for a new position in the Docklands area where a dynamic Project Manager, or Project Engineer who has the ability to develop, can take on a new project involving Groundworks and RC.

The Company is a well established construction company with an excellent reputation built on expertise, quality, innovation and professionalism, they have over 30 years experience in groundworks and the construction of reinforced concrete structures. Together with an in-house design and formwork manufacturing facilities the company represents a major force in the concrete sector. Successfully completed projects range from basic formwork reinforcement projects to high quality architectural concrete and complex civil engineering contracts.

The Project, valued at £28 million, will involve excavation, piling, drainage, coffer dam, basement and superstructure RC. The ability to read and interpret drawings, with the ability of working with very capable foremen is essential. An Engineering background is preferred. Design & Build and project planning experience will be an asset.

This is a multi-storey structure with deep basements and associated external features, so you should have worked on projects of £10m plus to have the knowledge of the scale of operations involved.
