Contracts Manager – Groundworks. Expansion and success have meant that we now require an additional Contracts Manager with experience in Groundworks and Reinforced Concrete to join this successful Contractor.

Working for a range of household names and blue chip companies this Contractor is well placed to further grow and develop. In addition to the Groundworks and RC contracted elements there is also an in-house residential division that is rapidly growing.

Your background will have evidence relevant experience in the Groundworks and Reinforced Concrete areas, Professional Engineering or relevant Trades qualifications will be advantageous, a stable employment history, proof of a career growth and a desire to succeed.

Geographically the company works in an area from the south coast north to within the M25, west to the M3 and east to Ashford & Canterbury.

The work often involves deep, complicated, and detailed excavations in unstable and problematic conditions. With innovative solutions for almost every ground condition encountered the company draws on 20 years of experience and skills to provide the basis for knowledgeable and competitive earthwork and groundworks estimates.

Repeat business is evident from the number of companies that regularly return, with many contracts being negotiated on the basis of previous work undertaken. The company has its’ own in-house plant and machinery with a directly employed workforce ensuring strengths of reliability.

Safety is extremely important and the company has received a number of awards for both Health & Safety and their training for staff and operatives, benefiting morale and performance.

The Package will be based on a salary of £55,000 plus a company vehicle or vehicle allowance and a good benefits scheme.
