Job Description

Suitable candidates should be experienced in the detailed design of both Major and Minor highway schemes with a good understanding of DMRB, in particular the application of standards within Volume 6 and must be proficient in the use of MX (Moss) software.

Specific MX Experience Required:
· Input and analysis of survey data
· Roundabout design using ‘Stockdale’ and crown profile method
· Assessment of overlay construction using isopachyte analysis
· Earthworks design and assessment of cut and fill volumes
· Production of base MX drawing information for detail construction drawings
· Reporting from MX and production of setting out information.

This contract role will be for a minimum of 6 months and will extended depending on project workloads and is based in Reading. The contract will pay a minimum of £30.00 / hour.
