Site or Senior Engineer - Basement RC, D&B Commercial. New project following on from construction work carried out by the contractor for the same client last year. Structural modification and demolition to open up an underground shopping mall. Excavation for large RC basement, then sub and super - structural RC work, so an understanding of the technical aspects of both these processes will be required. The Project is a D&B one for commercial end use.

The ideal candidate will have a broad engineering background and be capable of organising the Engineering aspects on this site through the various phases. Previous experience with one of the recognised RC frame contractors would be preferred. This is a role that would be suitable for a Site or Senior Engineer who is keen to move into management as the client has a number of similar projects in the pipeline.

The Contractor is recognised as a successful groundworks and RC frame contractor working in the south of England. You will need good communication skills, be IT literate, able to liaise with the various statutory bodies involved with this work and above all represent our client in a professional manner.

This is an 8 month project and the contractor is seeking a committed candidate for the role. Rewards will be above the industry average as we do not want average candidates. A 5 or 5.5 day week will operate. Ideally CSCS certified and with a current First Aid certificate. Excellent potential rewards will be available for the right candidate.
