Job Description
A popular south London Borough is looking for a planner to help out the development control service on telecommunications applications.
The role will involve assisting in providing a high quality, customer focused service by dealing efficiently and effectively with all applications and planning enquiries (relating to telecommunications) and by making a positive contribution toward the achievement of Best Value in the Development Control Group.
You will deal with all telecommunications related work, including prior approval and planning applications as well as related listed building applications, attending public meetings and briefing Members. To undertake pre-application negotiations with applicants/agents and representatives of other Council departments, as required.
We are looking for a qualified Town Planner who has relevant planning experience and telecommunications planning would be a bonus.
