Project / Senior Engineers x 2. £20m new build project in Woolwich.
Demolition, piling and RC frame coupled with structural refurbishment of an adjoining building. Working directly for the principle contractor.

Experienced Civil Engineers required for the role of Project / Senior Engineer. Immediate requirement for an expanding civil engineering contractor. Established over 25 years ago they are a sound contractor, specialising in RC structures, moving on from the shell and core to turnkey projects exceeding £25m.

The Company has a turnover approaching £180m and is actively pursuing and winning bigger contracts, with work secured for the forthcoming year that will see a considerable growth in turnover. The company has a reputation for pushing the jobs forward in their goal to increase their turnover.

This Project is a £20m RC frame and we intend to take on 2 x Project / Senior Engineers who have an engineering background and are capable of taking on managerial responsibilities. This and other vacancies have arisen through winning additional projects in the £1.5m to £22m range, opening up site based positions.
The successful candidates will come from Engineering backgrounds, having setting out experience, though here they will be responsible for programming as well as QA / QC and the associated additional management duties.

The Rewards are based on a 5 ½ day working week and the salary level is a guide and can be increased for exceptional candidates, dependant on levels of skill, with benefits and significant bonuses in prospect based on meeting and delivery of targets. Long term career and promotion prospects with this industrious company are considerable for above average candidates. You must be able to supervise Engineers, Direct Labour and Sub-Contractors, though your main function would be assisting the Project Manager, resolving a multitude of technical queries, assembling Method Statements and co-ordinating material call-offs.

Qualified to Degree or to tertiary level in a Civil Engineering or Construction discipline field you will have relevant recent UK experience working for a recognised company. Preferably CSCS carded, you must be legally permitted to live and work in the UK to be considered.
