Job Description
A West London Borough Council wishes to appoint a Building Control Project Officer for a 14 month contract.
Your overall role will be to ensure that the design and construction of all building works comply with the Building Regulations and associated legislation.
Your duties will include inspecting sites and evaluating the proposals and suitability of the building for structural alterations, You will also be examining full plans submission under Building Regulations and approve or reject plans as well as Evaluating costs of work on site. It is your responsibility to inspect buildings throughout the course of construction; alteration or extension under full plans procedure both before and after approval of plans.
The Successful candidate will have previous building control experience and have access to their own vehicle.
