A very well regarded local authority is seeking a Town Planner who has experience in handling and managing a mixed caseload of applications from a variety of clients.

The successful Town Planner may have varied experience in assisting with the preparation of accurate and detailed reports on planning applications, duty planning responsibility and community consultation. UK experience is preferred although not essential.

The successful Development Control Planner would also have experience in negotiations with developers to achieve satisfactory proposals within the context of national, strategic and local policies, standards and guidelines.
