Job Description

This role offers an ambitious individual the opportunity to initially manage the UK and then EMEA* recruitment for one of the markets leading IT Service Companies.

Reporting to the global head of recruitment based in the US, your remit will be to manage and develop their existing recruitment function. You will be expected to maintain a large degree of autonomy and work on your own initiative.
You will play a vital part in working with senior stakeholders to define their business requirements and have overall responsibility for managing and filling identified positions. A large proportion of the role will involve strategic planning to ensure accurate mapping of recruitment needs to meet the demand of large project rollouts.

The role has come about following a period of global restructuring. Having initialised the integration of this new recruitment strategy into the business, your key goals will be to increase the percentage of direct hires into the business and continue to develop working practices with internal hiring managers.
Currently the UK recruitment team is 10 strong with a further 8 focus on EMEA roles. The team consists of individuals who come from a variety of backgrounds including agency, RPO and direct competitors.
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

• Operations experience managing recruitment teams –internal or RPO environment.
• Ability to implement strategy developed by Global Recruiting.
• Experience developing strategy and tactics for unique hiring situations or targeted recruiting drives.
• Must have experience developing and maintaining PSL's along with vendor management skills.
• Direct resourcing experience with a proven track record in placing senior candidates.
• Experience of dealing with hiring managers and managing expectations around the recruitment process and external market.
• Proven team management skills in either an in-house or recruitment consultancy environment.
• Proven networking and headhunting ability.
• Demonstrate ability to source candidates through low cost recruitment channels.
• Ability to work in a highly pressured and target driven environment.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Good commercial awareness.

*Ideal candidate will have UK and EMEA recruitment experience; however my client will consider individuals who only have exposure to the UK market. In this instance you would initially take ownership of the UK remit with a view to them taking over the EMEA segment once proven. In the interim Global Recruitment will continue to manage EMEA.
