Medacs Healthcare, one of the leading providers of Nursing staff in the UK are currently recruiting, on behalf of our Client, a Commissioning Manager. Based in an idyllic location near to Birmingham, your responsibility will be to facilitate the development of a prestigious new build (the first of two).The role will include developing market awareness, and being involved in the inception of the set up, ensuring delivery of the business plan objectives and the ongoing success of this organisation and as a result, their service users.

Job Role

- Responsible for meeting internal and CSCI standards, you will act as the Registered Manager
- Implementing the strategic policies as established by the Board
- Commissioning appropriate clinical services and implementing service level agreements
- Manage recruitment campaigns to ensure resourcing plan is delivered prior to opening
- To act as the ‘public face of the company’ whilst the development takes place

The Person

- You will have proven experience within a group care home environment, with an interest in the care of the elderly
- Previous experience of working with clients with dementia
- The successful applicant will hold at least NVQ Level4 and RMA
- You will need to be confident, often working on your own initiative and unsupervised
- Due to the nature of the role, clear verbal communication skills are essential

The salary

The salary ranges from £40 000,00 - £45 000,00 per annum depending on experience plus 10% bonus as well as Travel and Accomodation provided.
