Job Description

Site Engineer Civils. Civils project with a 20 week programme, starting in June. Contractor requires a competent Setting out / Site Engineer with experience in working on excavation, drainage, services, highways and pavement modification, re-instatement, soft and hard landscaping. This will be a busy site and the work involves areas with public access.

The project is an extensive Civils one and the primary requirement is for someone who is capable of accurately setting out for the directly employed labour force. You will be site based in the Contractors’ site offices and will be expected to coordinate with the Site Manager and Foreman to organise and programmes the works.

An Engineering background will be essential, as will the ability to read drawings and schedules, IT literate and knowledgeable about materials used and required.
The company operates throughout the country covering a wide range of projects and serving both commercial and public sector clients, participating in a number of partnering initiatives and enjoying a high level of repeat business as a result of the excellent quality of service provided.
The civil engineering division offers expert services in major earthmoving projects, especially those involving remediation, roads and infrastructure, complex substructures and deep basements, drainage, bridges, main frames and hard landscaping. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered.
