Job Description

Due to continuing expansion, we have the opportunity to promote the new role of Technical co-ordinator to provide critical support to a technical team. Our client has a well-established, busy and expanding division within its group. Currently produce around 700 units per annum across approximately 23 developments.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the work of design and technical consultants, discharging planning and Building Control Conditions, ensuring services are connected, managing Architects and external contractors.

You must be fully conversant with the process of private house building, but will also be responsible for delivering both standard and non-standard designs to tight programmes, facilitating prompt site starts.

You need to build strong relationships with a wide range of contacts, including other internal teams, so you must be articulate, clear and credible, with both technical knowledge and commercial acumen.

Personal drive will also be essential, while a background in residential housing building would be an advantage.
