Job Description

Estimator, Civils and Groundworks. Overview. A well-established groundworks & civil engineering business, offering a range of services to the construction industry in London and the South East, including the Home Counties is currently seeking a suitably experienced Estimator from either a main civils contractor or from a specialist civils or groundworks background for new civils projects.

The company’s work covers these fields:
• Groundworks
• Civil engineering
• Demolition
• Remediation
• Stabilisation / Ground improvements
• Bulk earthwork
• Highway work

Current Requirement. Civils orientated Estimator, with a sound Commercial Civils background, able to win work from £1.2 to £3.5m on roads & highways with the associated interface with Local Authorities, Service Providers and the general public. You will be expected to have good industry contacts and a sound understanding of current market and pricing conditions.

Enthusiasm and a genuine desire to progress your career with a growing company, embracing their forward looking approach to Health & Safety are required.
