With its classical courtyard, soaring archway and sweeping staircase of rare marble, it’s not hard to see why this landmark Edwardian building has a thriving career as a film set.The restaurant is as opulent as the rest of the interior with marble columns and subtle art deco lighting. Mains are excellent and this 2 rosettes restaurant has to offer even better starters – veal with cameralised sweetbreads and girolles making a memorable highlight. Dining doesn’t get much grander than this.
We are now looking for a Sous Chef to join our team.

Job Description
• To effectively manage the pastry section and ensure it operates in the best productive manner
• To ensure that all pastries/desserts are served in a consistent manner following the guidelines and recipes laid down by the Hotel/Restaurant
• To ensure that there is a good communication process with colleagues and that they have a high level of understanding
• To ensure that all employees comply with all current Health, Safety and Hygiene legislation

Job Requirement
 NVQ level one and two or Hotel and Catering School diploma with specialisation in Pastry also accepted.
 At least 2 years working experience in a quality Restaurant
 Excellent Level of English as well as a presentable appearance
 Pro active approach to work and a willingness to learn.
