Job Description
Specialist Investigation Officer
A local police constabulary in the South West is looking for a Specialist Investigator to be part of their team to investigate road accidents. The ideal candidate will have experience in the investigation field and have an understanding of criminal law and the criminal justice system. You will have the ability to work alone and also be able to manage a caseload. Duties of the post will be as follows:
(1)Interviewing and taking statements from witnesses and victims.
(2)Face to Face enquires
(3)Take fingerprints
(4)Administer the PACE Act
(5)Preparing cases for prosecution
