Our client is an international multi-disciplinary consultancy who has been a leading force in ithe ndustry for over 30 years. They cover a variety of sectors including engineering consultancy, construction, surveying and architecture. With an annual turnover of £250M they continue to go from strength to strength. They are actively looking to recruit a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for their thriving Central London offices.

As Senior Infrastructure Engineer you would provide infrastructure designs and client liaison for the infrastructure team, be active in supporting existing and new clients, have a pivotal role in the detailed design of roads, sewers and associated infrastructure works for a varied client base, such as industrial, commercial, health, and educational buildings and assist in the negotiation of agreements on behalf of the clients with local authorities, Environment Agency, Internal Drainage Boards and Water Authorities.

In addition you would lead small infrastructure and multi-disciplinary teams, as required especially in relation to the production of working drawings.

The right Infrastructure engineer would have a minimum of 10 years infrastructure design experience including adoptable roads and drainage design, experience in negotiating Section 38, 278, 104 and 106 planning agreements, experience liaising with typical clients e.g. developers, project managers, contractors, architects and local authorities, the ability to work independently with the ability to produce work to tight deadlines and have experience of design using PDS, WinDes and AutoCAD design software.

As engineer you would also have experience of private drainage to Document H and M of the Building Regulations and experience in leading small multi-disciplinary design teams and some management experience in controlling and directing the work of junior staff to ensure work is completed on time to the correct standard.
