Job Description
Required to produce consultation responses on planning applications in particular new residential developments exposed to road/rail noise. Responsible for reviewing procedures for applying PPG24 Annex1 and sound insulation criteria, assessing consultants' reports and inspecting sound insulation of new dwellings. Additionally responsible for supervising a project relating to noise from major roads affecting residential areas. Depending on experience you will assist with the workload of the Pollution team. You will be an experienced Technical Officer with experience/knowledge related to planning applications and/or noise mapping an advantage.
