Job Description
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a large Local Authority in West London within their Family & Children Services Department as a Project Manager.
The Project Manager shall be responsible for commissioning professional consultants to procure and manage building work contracts of corporate buildings including schools, children's homes and some recreational facilities.
Other duties will include preparing specifications and estimates as well as draft briefs for consultation, issuing of orders, supervising works and authorising payments.
The ideal candidate will come from a Building Surveying background with a relevant qualification in this field as well as a public sector experience.
