Job Description
A top consultancy in London is looking for a Bridge Engineer. You are required to assist in the delivery of a diverse range of major and minor projects for the Highways Agency, Local Authority and other clients. Based in their London office the successful candidate will be part of the bridges team undertaking inspection, design, assessment and strengthening of highway structures. There is also scope to provide supervision of works on site.
This is a leading role within one of our core professional disciplines and involves being a leading technical contributor with responsibility for providing direction, advice, mentoring and guidance for others. The role involves managing an important team of technical professionals and includes all people management responsibilities: recruitment and selection, coaching, performance management, organisational decision making. The role is responsible for recommending and assisting in the development of new offerings and making improvements to existing work practices. The position also has important project responsibilities including estimating the business impact of projects for Scott Wilson and clients, negotiating and managing risk, and interfacing at senior levels with our clients.
