Job Description
This unitary authority currently requires a lift surveyor to assist with an increase in workload within their lifts department.
You will be responsible for assisting with the management and upkeep of the council’s lift portfolio and to oversee all refurbishment and new installation projects. Lift inspections will be a large part of this role and these will need to be done to client specifications and ensuring that the services comply with appropriate legislation, professional standards and the values, standards, policies and priorities the council has set out.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience within lift survey and inspection and be qualified to a HNC level or equivalent.
