Job Description
Due to a buoyant workload the Bridges and Civil Structures Team of our client require a significant number of new staff, increasing its current 20 strong team. The Team are currently working predominantly in the Highway sector, however are embracing the UK Strategy to grow its rail capability.
Overall responsibility of the successful candidate for the Technical Quality of projects includes:
• H&S legal compliance
• Technical Review Process
• The provision of technical resources to suit the deliverable schedule
• Client Care
• Technical risk management
• Mentoring staff in all aspects of analysis and design development
Experience Required:
*Experience of design of new bridge and civil structure works
*Experience of leading design teams and interfacing with other disciplines *Experience of preparing tender documentation
*Ability to communicate at all levels with Clients on Technical issues
*Experience of working with overseas clients and willingness to travel as part of project work
*You should also be able to communicate well and act as a team player
