Job Description

We seek Dutch qualified lawyers to undertake a demanding role within a branch of a major UK law firm. Based in their offices in Amsterdam you will be required to undertake a key role in this highly regarded corporate team. The office is supported by 7 Partners and the corporate finance work undertaken is of high quality.

We seek candidates with a strong track record in corporate finance work, with high academic achievement
and the confidence and dynamism to not only deal with the work currently available but to drive the team further forwards in this key market.

You must have the ability to speak and write in both English and Dutch. Many transactions you will deal with will be cross-jurisdictional and your presence in the firm will strengthen the coporate ability in this region as between UK and other Pan-European offices.

This is a role for a candidate who is already working for a top law firm but would like to experience a change of culture and the chance to be a significant player in securing a higher status for the firm in the Netherlands. You can expect to be involved in big ticket M&A work, financing and JVA's as well as other general corporate work.

You will be required to travel to the firm's other offices in London, Europe, China and the middle east.

No doubt you will find it refreshing to join a firm with such a diverse client base, which includes domestic and international corporates, financial institutions, private equity and venture capital houses, municipalities, investment funds and governmental organisations. Whilst such a cross section may not be unique, the environment in which this work is undertaken and the chance for close client interaction and development is certainly hard to find.
