This excellent opportunity is to join a Geotechnical team which operate in the rail industry. You will be part of a Consultancy Business that covers England and Wales. Projects include track renewal investigations, earthworks inspection and assessment, re-signalling and power schemes, tunnel management and bridge assessments and various minor works associated with the rail infrastructure. Projects are valued from a few thousand up to multimillion pound.
The professional and technical duties will include: desk studies, planning, management and implementation of site investigations management of contractors and writing factual and interpretive reports. Candidates will have 1 to 5 years experience with a relevant degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology. Rail experience is essential and foundation design knowledge would be an advantage.
