Job Description

SITE ENGINEER, RC frame. We currently require an experienced engineer to join the excellent engineering team on this new project. Currently working on phase one as it comes out of the ground you will be in place to take on further duties and responsibilities as phases two and three break.

The project involves basement excavation, RC retaining walls, cores and suspended floors to multiple storey levels on a number of linked structures, moving on to the external envelope, and in some areas the fit out. The end use will see this development exhibit both residential and support facilities, harmonising with the commercial sections of the site.

You will have come from an engineering background and will ideally have formal training and qualifications, a minimum of 2 - 3 years relevant site experience, working for either an RC frame contractor, a main contractor who controls the construction process or a builder / developer, having worked on projects exceeding £3m is preferred

We are looking for an Engineer who is able to take on the responsibility and challenges that go with a busy site, and have the initiative to think and forward plan.

Current CSCS card essential and a First Aid certificate would be advantageous, but not obligatory. The site runs on a 5 ½ day week. The option is available for either a contract or a permanent role, and the client has a large number of other schemes underway, so continuity of work is assured. Only applicants who are legally permitted to live and work in the UK will be considered.
