Job Description
A North London Borough is looking for a Planning Officer to work in their DC planning team.
The purpose of this job is to process allocated planning applications and deal with enforcement enquires and notices from initial referral through to final decision and appeal.
You will be required to give pre-application advice on planning and enforcement issues, undertaking site inspections to check plans and assess proposals.
Also you will have to draft reports for the Committee and for other bodies if required, and to formulate, present and justify recommendations to the team leader for action on planning applications.
You will have a degree in Town Planning and development control experience from the UK or overseas.
