Job Description
Signalling Project Engineer required by Network Rail to undertake Project Engineer duties on allocated projects within the MP&I S&T LNE Programme team. The job purpose is to ensure that appropriate engineering standards are used in relation to design and/or construction on allocated projects within the national programme and that they comply with the requirements of the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP), relevant legislation, Railway Group and Network Rail standards. Experience of a wide variety of Signalling technologies and Signalling Design principles are essential. You should also be educated to HND/Degree level in Electronic or Control Engineering, or equivalent industry recognised signal engineering qualification, have knowledge of industry standards relating to signalling infrastructure, be commercially aware, including knowledge of business case preparation and budget preparation and have an understanding of intellectual property rights law and contract matters.
