With the Rail industry constantly crying out for skilled Engineering staff to ensure the realisation of myriad multi-million pound schemes across the country, there has never been a better time to move into this sector of the Recruitment industry. Recently selected as one of a handful of Recruitment Consultancies to partner Network Rail in supplying engineering staff nationwide, Calco Services are looking to strengthen their Rail Division to meet the demand of this client and others across the sector. Whether you are already working in Recruitment on the Rail side and looking to move upwards, or have a background in the Rail industry and seek a greater challenge Calco want to hear from you.

Suitable applicants will need to demonstrate strong sales and marketing skills. Day to day duties will include researching and interviewing candidates, canvassing clients, arranging job interviews, writing job vacancies, handling incoming telephone calls and visiting & entertaining clients. One to one training and support will be provided during initial probation period, by an experienced team leader. This is however no substitute for ability and the confidence to work on your own initiative. A good standard of literacy and solid IT skills are also vitally important and should be evident in your application.

This role will NOT suit an individual looking for an easy ride, but the long-term career prospects will reward you for your efforts.
