This North London Local Authority is urgently seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a strong Project Quantity Surveying background (PQS). You should be MRICS with an accredited degree or equivalent. The role entails undertaking small, medium and large projects, feasibility studies, cost advice and other duties, to provide Quantity Surveying services to a high professional standard. You will be responsible to the Principal Quantity Surveyor for the effective performance of that work within a team of Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors. You will ensure compliance of their project team with the terms and conditions of any appropriate SLA or commissioning arrangements. In addition provide financial management in the procurement and administration of construction contracts while checking compliance with Standing Orders and Financial Regulations and best value to the Council.
