Site Engineer. Work to 2008. Current requirement is for a suitably qualified Senior Site Engineer, or Land Surveyor with a good understanding of Engineering drawings, who can help the Project Manager and take control of the dimensional accuracy of the primary and secondary phases of this new project. The drawings will all be issued in electronic format and you should have had previous experience in establishing primary and secondary controls and reporting on and verifying all aspects of the setting out.

The Project is one where the bulk of the work will be complicated and intricate, with all the architectural details being set out to co-ordinates on both the structural RC sub- and super- structural elements, the finishes and the current package of external works.

Experienced in RC work, you will probably have had a minimum of 3 to 5 years setting out in field conditions on large projects, preferably for a contractor, be able to read and understand architectural, construction and services drawings, ideally have good AutoCAD skills, a CSCS certificate, and permission to live and work in the UK.

Clear communication skills, with the ability to pass on information to the labour force, a confident approach in dealing with the main contractor resolving drawing and information queries, a good work ethic that will lead to solving problems with your colleagues are all attributes of the Senior Site Engineer or Land Surveyor we seek for the post.
