Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Planning Enforcement Officer interested in working for our Local Government client. Requirements for the role include a background in Town Planning which can be in the form of a degree or other further educational qualification, previous experience (not limited to the UK) or an interest in entering this specialised field.
The job will require an officer to investigate breaches of planning control, which will include site visits, report writing and negotiating acceptable solutions to the breach whilst avoiding recourse to Enforcement Action.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop ones understanding of the UK planning system and offers a stepping stone to further planning jobs in Enforcement or moves into Policy and Development Control.
