A West London housing association wishes to appoint a Property Asset Manager to lead and manage a small team of Surveyors.

You will be responsible for leading a team to ensure they provide a responsive and planned repairs service to the Associations housing stock. You will be required to manage your team's performance to ensure they meet the requirements for responsive repairs, void turnaround and planned programmes.

Duties will include preparing budgets, delegating work to your team, recruiting when required, managing contractors and consultants, undertaking work in connection with the maintenance and repairs programmes. You will also be contributing to the review and revision of policies and procedures. You will be expected to act as a partnering champion and build strong links with partner contractors and build a strong partnering team.

The successful candidate will have had previous involvement in the maintenance of buildings including new builds. Previous experience of managing staff is required. You should have a relevant qualification and a good understanding of building contracts and modern methods of procurement.
