Job Description:

Large Consultancy has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented Structural Engineer to work on high profile international and UK projects. Their Building Structures team are currently involved in a number of high profile projects ranging from £100k-£10 million, covering regeneration projects, new developments, large civil/structural regeneration projects, and new projects within schools and local authorities. The role will require the successful engineer to carry out the following duties; Assist in the project management of small to medium sized projects to completion within budget. Undertake structural design, surveys and produce technical reports. Liaise effectively with other professionals (architects, service engineers etc.) in delivering designs to satisfy the agreed brief. Effectively manage own time across multiple projects. Develop ongoing relationships with other professionals.

Person Specification:

Qualified to degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering and either recently acheived or working towards Chartered status. Sufficient and appropriate record in structural design projects. Work history in structural engineering, including design, structural surveys and production of technical reports. Good communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to use structural analysis and design software. Able to work within budget, to control costs and manage change control.
