Site Manager - Construction. We have an additional requirement for a competent Site Manager to organise and oversee the Construction activities on site. On site there is a Project Manager, Senior Engineer and Site Engineers already in place and we need a good Site Manager with strong Construction skills to join them to co-ordinate the on-site activities of direct and sub-contract labour, for either a permanent role or a long run of freelance work.

Experienced in working initially on Groundworks and following on to Reinforced Concrete structures, you will be able to read and understand Construction drawings, specifications and Method Statements. You will be able to motivate and encourage as well as providing accurate and concise information to the workforce. You will need to have clear oral and written communication skills.

The Contractor is amongst the fastest growing companies in the Construction sector, turning over around £25m in 2006 – 2007, and has picked up a number of high profile projects on this and similar sites in London. The Contractor has a good record of working with their clients and aim to build on the repeat business that they already enjoy. The directly employed staff are experts in their field and you will be joining a strong team of professionals.

Remuneration is based on a good hourly rate with plenty of opportunities for long hours. A permanent position may be available if that is your preferred option.

Qualifications are not essential however you should be CSCS carded and are likely to have a minimum of 5 - 7 years working on similar projects in the UK over the last few years. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered.
